That's why you don't use that rocket launcher though. It sucks! The one before it is much better. It takes them down right away. I piss everyone off because they get enough kills for a chopper, then within 30secs i've already shot it down.  |
The rocket launcher you're talking about only locks on aircraft so you can't shoot at buildings and other stuff. Also it's longer than the Javelin so when you're carrying it around and crouch behind something it sticks up and reveals your position.
The Javelin is smaller and can shoot at anything. It's a bit harder to shoot aircraft but you can still get them all. I like to find one or two guys sniping from a rooftop and blow them to pieces with the Javelin. Sometimes it's just fun to blow up something on the map just to create action for the other players.
