I'm sure it will become a larger component in the overall scheme of power generation, but most large DC's are currently in urban areas and don't have the space to really harness this type of power directly at the DC level. This should change some in the next decade as more efficient low profile wind turbines are developed for rooftops that meet city building codes. With the cost of power becoming an ever increasing part of DC/Hosting costs I can see more new DC's looking for areas where they can take advantage of wind and hydro power as you are now seeing along the Columbia River, from Canada all the way down to Oregon.
