Don't know if many people have run across this, but Guerilla Traffic offers several
free member area plugins
for your site which also makes you money from resulting sales.
This by no means replaces plugins you pay for but it could be a good addition if you are looking to add something extra to your members area, and if you have a small paysite or are just starting out.
I am just starting to use them so i can't tell you any success stories from sales but i definitely adds a bit more variety to your content selection.
