im not too clear how more regulations + insurance exhanges + individual mandate is a government takeover. by that logic, i guess the government controls the entire economy, since they regulate everything that moves nowadays. your right...i havent read the bill, i get my info from a combo of rachel maddow & matt drudge. i think the bill was only released last night anyhow. & none of my comments came to the defense of the left wing, or of the reform bill. I'm just really unhappy the right wing is offering a huge helping of fear, instead of giving the public a positive alternative to more government. In my opinion the repubs are fucking up so bad, they are giving the public no alternative to dems. I really feel the current right wing leadership is a disaster & is driving the acsension of the tea party as grass roots republicans are disenchanted with the current GOP.
