I have a similar system in my theater room
I picked my projector by telling the sales guy to turn the lights on in the room so I can see which projector will shine with external light coming into the room. I ended buying the 2nd to the top Sharp DLP HD projector and its in my theater room at about 26 feet from the screen on a 120" draper screen. There are some awesome finds sometimes at frys like
