Shelton man facing child porn possession charges

Cory M. Wells, 20, is charged in Buffalo County Court with two counts of felony possession of child pornography on March 26.
Court records outline the case against Wells:
An investigation by the State Attorney General?s Office showed computer video files depicting children under the age of 18 involved in sexual activity were being advertised for sharing from a website in use at Wells? home address on 115th Road in rural Shelton. In March, under a search warrant, investigators reviewed a computer hard drive and found the pornographic video files.
Wells was arrested without incident.
He posted 10 percent of a $1,500 bond, or $150, and is free. A hearing date hadn?t been set.
If convicted, Wells faces up to five years in prison on each charge.
