The reality is that people like to party. They like doing coke and smoking pot. It shouldn't be the govt's place to tell us what we can and can't do. People aren't going to stop wanting to do coke and smoke pot. WE are the country with the demand.
What do you expect is going to happen when you make something illegal and make it incredibly profitable by doing so? Make it legal, tax it, let people be FREE to make their own choices in life as an adult.
That way the Mexican workers can still come here and pick our fruit and veggies and do our lawn service just like they have since the beginning of our country.
My family was a major citrus grower in Florida from the 1960's on. My grandfather had over a thousand "wetbacks" picking oranges in the fields. Nobody was bitching about it then.
But now, because WE sent our military down to Columbia in our fucking moralistic "holier than thou" "War On Drugs" (and keep in mind WE are the biggest consumers of these "evil" drugs) and destroyed the Columbian Cartel...WE basically created the new Mexican Cartel.
Once again, OUR bullshit causes problems.
So now the solution is to build a fucking wall like the Soviet Union did across Germany?
I thought that was supposed to be "bad" and "evil" when they did it.
I'm disgusted with the mindset of my own countrymen and women. WTF are you thinking? WE are not supposed to be like Nazi's and the fucking Soviet Union. We are supposed to be FREE and a "beacon of light"

Do you see a difference between building a wall to keep people in and a wall to keep people out?
