What I think what comes out of this thread, which should be noted, is that we have now reached a level in the industry and on the boards where there are enough women in it who are here because they are actual industry workers/players rather than just content that it isn't all that big a deal that they are a woman.
When I first started in the industry, the boards were vastly male. I can remember about four other women who were regulars on the boards then - Tam, KimmyKim, Red, Peaches. There were others in the industry (PK, Max Cash's own Aly, Tonda, etc) that I didn't see on the boards that much when I got involved (at least not the ones I chatted on) but were still really active on the business side. I find it interesting, that we are all still around and working at various levels in the industry.
To me, it is just great that there are so many *business* women around now that people couldn't simply list them off the top of their heads.
