Oh, may I also say, I am not stating the EVO on its own. I do not personally like the HTC phones of which I have held one & did not like it.
I suppose, like once you have drove a car & then do not wish to drive that make any more or maybe you do not like a MAC & yet the new MAC could be perfect for a person. Its my own opinion of which I just do not like HTC.... Hoping this is ok with you.

There is a continuity in MAC, it is OSX evolving.
The HTC you held has NOTHING in common with this one. Not the software, not the hardware, not the layout...
The HTC EVO is a Google Android Phone. If anything you could say you don't like Android.
Unless, you are talking purely emotional brand appeal, but if so, what is the point?
