forgot about those classics! The Haunting is one of those great horror movies that is pure atmosphere. They never show anything but its really effective.
Also - The original Invasion Of The Body Snatchers
And The Innocents based on the book Turn Of The Screw. It has a scene of a ghost standing in the distance across a lake and I swear thats where Black Sabbath got their inspiration for the album cover-
