I'm not saying the octopus doesn't have intelligence, just that a guess like that has nothing to do with intelligence. In fact, I believe the octopus liked the colors of the german flag and that's what he sticked to. And lucky for him, Germany tends to improve throughout these games. He didn't "know" that and if we flipped the flags and "told" him, he wouldn't understand it ... and guess all wrong. That's not incredible intelligence or "zero" intelligence, it's just plain math
