You also compared Wendys to my local movies. You can't really compare the two. We don't have a local movie theatre in Lincoln, or even Rocklin for that matter. We have to travel all the way to Roseville to see a movie, all of about twenty minutes. In the process, we'll pass three different Wendy's - including the closed one in Lincoln, there is one in Rocklin and more than one in Roseville. The Wendy's served a limited amount of people in Lincoln only, while the movie theatre serves the populations of Roseville, Lincoln, Rocklin, North Highlands, and even Granite Bay. In other words, the movie theatre has a much large customer base.

I'm also willing to bet that our local movie theatre has seen a huge decline in ticket sales, as well as a drop in their snack bar sales.
