During Reagan's time it was people that lost their jobs in the last 6 months
Since the % is about the same, that would indicate that the numbers were worse during Reagan's time, yet he did some solid things that got people working, still waiting on Obama, but if they keep extending the benefits, you can never compare them really
I find it funny that if you're going to compare the two presidents, you would leave out they are doing completely different approaches to saving the economy

you're saying that unemployment during raygun's period was worse, so in 23 months he managed to get unemployment to 10.8%...impressive, and it only took him 17 months to get the number back down to when he was sworn in
so obama comes in when the country is a complete mess thanks to 8 years of utter incompetence and we are supposed to think that everything should be peachy after a year in office?
