I think it is important to keep an open mind... saying it definately wasnt a conspiracy or it definately was a conspiracy is immature. Im not sure what happened..

I will tell you this though, eyewitness accounts are not as reliable as you think, I have a psych degree and we did a lot of study on that, people's memories can be influenced by suggestive language and other things after the events, in one study i think it was 1/3 of people were convinced to believe they were abused as a child even though they were not. I cant remember all the studies now, but keep in mind eyewitness accounts are not as reliable as you might think.
