I used to sell office furniture back in the early 80. Herman Miller chairs were kick ass back then. The only thing that was better IMO was a chair made by Labofa, it moved very slowly as you sat in it and was very good for people with a back problem.
The biggest problem with people suffering from back strain due to office seating is down to the way they sit. Rather than perched back onto the back rest, so it takes the weight and provides support, they lean forward. What ever chair they use.
I attended a series of seminars given by orthopedics about back problems in work, so I was qualified to give advice on seating ans sell chairs via a Government funding. Good earner. LOL
