For crying out loud, did anyone read the Wikipedia entry? This is a lot of hoopla over almost nothing really. It would be like if the U.S. Congress re-classified American Samoa for example from an unincorporated unorganized U.S. territory to some slightly different classification that meant nothing except to the handful of people that ran the local government there.
