hahaha, before i even opened the thread i knew negative comments would start flying. of course though, your posting this on an adult webmaster board, filled with a ton of people whos idea of a relationship is based soley on physicality.

marriage, is marriage. its a word, its an idea, and its nothing more. but its also a tradition, a stamp on a relationship. and for most people, to profess their true love and devotion, they get married, "i'm devoted to you and only you" which i find nothing wrong with, the emotional benefits that come with being in a relationship with someone who is GOOD for you, will always outweigh the physical benefits.

if you're WITH someone you really connect with, then you'll both understand marriage doesn't have to change anything. as i've said, its just an idea and nothing more. if you're with someone who understands this, then the relationship can survive easily and it doesn't have to become a hell at all..

but as we know, few relationships like that actually exist. its not the problem of "marriage", its the problem that most people simply lack ANY skill when it comes to relationships (finding partners, based not ONLY one physicality, compromising, etc etc)

so, we all realize this with all the divorces, and we have people like we have here, who simply say "fuck it, marriage doesn't work, wah wah, dont get married" although it is a preference, i still think most who are against marriage lack true understanding and are usually just bitter about it either from personal experiences, or knowing others with negative experiences.

marriage is neutral. its the 2 that are within the marriage that MAKE the marriage.

so with that said, fuckin a' flashfreak. congradulations. may you be one of the few couples that might actually make it through.
