Blu-ray looks great, it is cinema quality in the home.
Most porn is produced on non professional cameras and this does not show in on the internet where even "HD" is a poorer quality than proper standard TV. All to do with the bitrate, the amount of info and not the resolution.
We also find the Sony EX1 produces great HD pictures, but it has to be lit properly, focus becomes critical, need good assistant to pull focus, good sound person to place the mic in the right place, and get the sound level right. A good make up artist who can powder up spot on bums etc also important...
The blu ray look really good, not as good as mainstream Hollywood product - not by a long way... The color, contrast, lighting, etc as vastly better on a mainstream film. This is due to have in crew of a hundred instead of 3 !
Shooting on the highest quality possible also improves the quality of the wmv and DVD made from the film. We find that a DVD made from the HD master shown on a DVD player that upscales looks very good (The higher the bitrate for the DVD the better )
We would say that the best quality possible on the internet at the moment is to supply DVD images for punters to buy....
