Last November, the GOP ran on repealing the healthcare law, I think it's pretty apparent that's what the people want, you guys can spin that any way you want.
It passed in the house, now Reid wants to block it from going to vote in the senate, why? Because he is worried that the senators that vote no on the repeal will lose their jobs like their counterparts did in November come 2012.
It might actually pass in the senate because of that, then it would go to Obama, if he vetos it, which he will, no doubt there
The vote will be used in 2012 to rally voters, plain and simple.
This is a purely strategic move, argueing the healthcare law now is superfluous.

Now isnt it a huge waste of tax payer dollars arguing to repeal law that they wont be able to repeal? Doing political moves on the peoples dime? Now if they came in all about wasteful spending. This seems like wasteful spending of our tax dollars. Also how many of them are saying keep your government health care I dont want it? Or the government pension they get for life I doubt many. Henry Ford once said that he could get half the working class to kill the other half. Its so true and so sad.
