We have two options for getting gas here in Thailand...
1) At a gas station. However, these are sometimes out of the way and they often close early.
2) A random pit stop where someone, usually motorbike taxi drivers, will store gas inside of whiskey bottles. Some will flip the bottle up and pour it right into your tank, and others will use a funnel. It is not uncommon for them to be SMOKING while they do it, ashes falling right into the funnel. When they do this, I walk across the street and wait until they are finished, camera in hand waiting for them to catch fire. Sadly, it's never happened. Darwin is patient in the land of monkeys.
