Anyone need a Project Manager?

Due to a massive data loss this morning, which put me back by about a year, I'm left with quite a bit of uncertainty. I'm not sure on my best way forward at the moment, but thought I'd put this out there, and see what comes of it. Who knows, maybe karma is real, as I like to believe I’ve earned my share in this life.

So, anyone looking for a project manager? Here's what I bring to the table:

Synopsis
  • 29yo Canadian, highly skilled software developer with 10 years experience, much of which was heavy workload, stressful, and intense.
  • Creative, innovative, down to earth, ambitious, excellent problem solving skills, honest, trustworthy, easy to work with, and simply likes to get the job done with the least amount of bullshit possible.
  • Started and managed a company for 5 years specializing in industry leading MLM & affiliate software solutions. Well versed in the areas of affiliate / account management, and all aspects pertaining to it.
  • For the last several years, have been doing contract work with high-end online marketers who require custom, complex, and large software solutions. I understand the marketing arena, and what’s required to make an online operation prosper.
  • Have incorporated several companies, done payroll for my employees in the past, had several merchant accounts, corporate income tax, etc. I understand basic business & corporate structure, etc.

What I’m Looking For

All options are open, but a project management position. We consult together, you provide me a vision plus team to work with, and I return with the finalized product ready to launch. I’m uniquely qualified for this, as I’m excellent at taking a broad idea / vision, using my in-depth technical expertise plus problem solving skills, and breaking it down into clear and concise specs everyone on the team will understand.

With my vast experience in developing large-scale marketing systems, combined with my technical expertise, I understand what’s required to make your operation successful, fully understand what’s technically feasible and not, and know the best way to implement your ideas. This combined expertise also allows me to provide very down to earth, yet modest suggestions regarding your operation, plus allows me to communicate with all parties involved on a level they will understand.

What I’m NOT Looking For

A software development position. After 10 years of typing code, I’d prefer something different. I’m more than happy to sift through code, find problematic areas, and provide guidance, but would prefer not to get into the actual development. I’m worth more than that.

I’m also not looking for any short-time contract projects. I’m looking for a solid and stable position with a reputable company who I can trust, work with everyday, and enjoy ourselves while we all make the cogs of a business turn.

Conclusion

If this by chance sparked anyone’s interest, please contact me at [email protected]. I would provide a real e-mail address, but am unable to touch the server’s hard drive, as they’re doing data recovery at the moment.

Right now, I’m a little uncertain as to what my future holds for me, and would prefer something a little different than typing source code. I’m excellent at what I do, but have lost my passion for it. All options are on the table, so if you have something, feel free to contact me.
