Been there done that 10 years ago. Lesson learned.
Easy come easy go. If she leaves someone for you, she will easily leave you for someone else. Furthermore, having an ex show up to your Jui-Jitsu class with a gun really sux too.
I did it once, and i don't recommend it. Nothing good will ever come of it.
