I thought it was funny too.
But then, I don't know what kind of argument these two were involved in before Lorre decided to play that card. Obviously there was already bad blood and the statement was meant to piss Sheen off further. Childish.
I mean, how is it professional for a producer (the guy who is supposed to be responsible) of the number one television show in the world to endanger that very show by provoking the guy who is not only the star...but the actual person that the main character is based on?
If I were Warner/CBS...I'd fire Chuck Lorre. And then I'd re-hire Sheen and get the money train rolling again.
Seems to me that Sheen is not the kind of guy you fuck with. And Lorre knew that and did it anyway. Very un-producer-like. A producer's job is to make sure that things go smoothly and everything works. Not to fuck it up with egotistical "vanity" bullshit at the end of an episode.
Obviously Sheen is making a public fool out of himself with his crazy ass rantings. But acting crazy, partying, and fucking whores is as old as Hollywood itself. He's just the latest in a long line of people who lived their lives that way.
His problem is we are now in an age of TMZ, Twitter, and 24 hour cable news all reporting breathlessly on his every utterance and every time he does a line or cums in a whore.
