I like the way you truncated the sentence so you could add your own interpretation to it...
The actual complete sentence was:
"Currently we have no exact policy against it, but please also check eBay's terms and conditions if the allow it."
I don't see where that says (either directly or indirectly) to check AWE's ToS. If you truly think otherwise, you're obviously smoking something you probably shouldn't be.
Or maybe just outright lying to get out of paying the OP. We know how highly AWE thinks of their affiliates.
