It seems that everything is made from atoms, no matter whether it is a solid, liquid or gas. The radiation really spreads through almost any substance. People in a local area share the same fate, even though they might be behind different walls. The man-made radiation goes through walls. In same cases, special anti-radiation bunkers have been built with thick walls of concrete or metal to protect the people inside the bunker. A radiation threat is something that can connect people and bring them together, just like a common enemy can unite peoples. A natural thing that different people share in the same geographical area is weather. Weather is a local phenomenon that has a huge effect on biological beings - it can range from snowflakes, rain, thunder, lighting, volcano, hurricane, tsunami, earthquakes, flood, hail, sunshine, ice and many other things. Good luck!
