Respecting religious zealots (regardless of faith) is not going to solve anything. Eliminating religion entirely is the only real solution. Hopefully through common sense, education and attrition the world will become less religious over the next few generations. |
I never said it was perfect - but those who have faith need to respect and tolerate those who don't and it goes the other way around. Our world is falling apart because of wars and religious craziness on both sides. We live in a world with so much variation that the only thing that is certain is not who's right or wrong - but that we'll survive when we focus on mankind itself rather than religion or color of skin or where we were born. Yes there are idiots who serve religions that don't make sense - at the same time I have seen atheists do some pretty dumb things too - either way - we need to begin working together to make this a world that is still around for our kids to enjoy.
