I recommend in the future, you always download the entire file structure, of any file that gets shot on a card or hard drive camera.

Had this issue 3 days ago with a client trying to open a video file with out opening the whole file structure. I then explained how the files need to be opened.

He followed the directions i gave and there were the video files complete with the meta data.

I also back up whole entire cards with file structures into two separate places as i off load them. Clients are not wanting to hear about a hard drive crash.

I shot with and EX1, EX3 and this weekend i shot with and Canon Fx305 and a Canon Vixia SF10, if meta data is important to you and you want a solid workflow that will translate to what ever camera you are using, copy the whole card with its file structure as is.

This will save you issues like this in the future.
