There is absolutely no call for an American version of this film, this film is great as is, the special effects are every bit as good as they need to be, and given the setting, the foreign language is integral to the storytelling.
Doing an American version would be for no other reason than to give Hollywood an opportunity to pimp its tired overplayed contract whores.
