Then when you get into specifics, star players shouldn't be impacted as much, but the Sedin sisters have essentially been shutout home and away, and Vancouver has scored roughly the same pace regardless of the building. Both teams have looked sluggish while on the road, like expected, but the biggest x-factor has been the play of Luongo.

The 8 goals was a situational thing. After the first few goals, his team around him essentially just gave up the game and made it much easier to score. As strange as it sounds, that game could have just as easily been a 2-1 or 3-1 game.
Yeah I agree with you, there is factors that could influence the play and the players when at home and away. But I have never seen them play so much of a role like you said.

I was trying not to talk about a specific game/series, but this series really is making me laugh sometimes at how 1 sided it is for the home team having the edge. I know Vancouver hasn't done as good as Boston at home when you look at the goals scored. But they have had an edge at the Roger's center.

Happened again last night though. Back to Boston and Vancouver should have kept the goals against down like they have at home. But instead they go 4-0 down in 5 minutes and can't come back.

So in theory, Wednesday should be Boston winning because they just dominated the Canucks again. They should have the momentum and they should know they can beat them.
