For those of you that attend shows, would this be appealing to you? Say a 60-70 room high end hotel, negotiated rates tha would blow you mind.....
Limit the attendees to "successful industry executives" and keep out the riff raff and the ones with six cameras.....
And no press..... well only selected press ..... but all photos from event would be screened.....

No disrespect to the current tradeshow producers, this idea would not be a tradeshow but more of an elite gathering.....
