Greek Riots and the Teachers Strike in the UK Tomorrow

It all going on over here in Greece and the UK

The austerity riots and demonstrations in Greece have been on going and Im wondering if we will see more demonstrations and riots over here in the uk over the next few months with a huge strike planned in the UK for tommorrow.

Who is taking part in Thursday's strikes?

Four unions in total. Three teaching unions - the National Union of Teachers (NUT), the Association of Teachers and Lecturers (ATL) and the University and College Union (UCU) - have voted to strike. They have 220,000, 80,000 and 55,000 members respectively, who are eligible to strike. They will be joined by an estimated 250,000 members of the PCS, who include air traffic controllers, coastguards, prison workers and customs and immigration staff. The PCS union also represents staff at the Department for Work and Pensions and Jobcentres.

The unions are saying if the goverment dont listen they will carry out further strikes

This has the potential to turn nasty over the comming months if something is not sorted out and i hope it doesnt end up with a load of riots in the end

The world has gone crazy ...
