Tea Party or Disaster?
Tea Party or Disaster?
?We came unarmed... This time!? is their battle cry. A lot has been said about the tea party. They are bats-in-the-bellhouse crazy or that they are a revolutionary force in the world of politics today, the rhetoric has ran the gamut of the possible spectrum. The Tea Party generally is an organization comprised of mostly reasonable people whom are against high taxation, government interference, and government spending. But there are a certain subset of Tea Party Members that tarnish and over shadow what the party is trying to do by being annoying ignoramuses. A certain segment of the Tea Party membership is grossly misinformed at best, willfully ignorant at worst
The first sub-group of the Tea Party membership that will be addressed are the ?Know-Nothings?. This particular group are the individuals who really know nothing about the world of politics or the political process. All they know is they are just mad as hell because they saw Glenn Beck on TV being mad as hell and showed up at some rallies to scream for a while. They shout things such as ?I don't wanna pay taxes anymore? and ?Keep Government Outta My Medicare? while sitting there on a powered wheelchair provided by Medicare. They hold signs in their hands that say things such as ?Hitler? with a Barack Obama ?Hope? poster with Hitler style mustache drawn on his lip and him wearing a Nazi uniform for full effect. They don't really know how or what to do to fix any thing but they decide to show up at rallies anyway to hoot and holler.
The next group on the agenda is the sub-group of the Tea Party that will be addressed as the ?Know-Nothings?. They are a group that kind of know whats going on with government. They know that huge government spending can't be a good thing. They know they don't want to pay higher taxes but aren't aware that no one wants nor asked them to. They also kinda know they don't like Barack Obama but accuse him of things he really hasn't done. They kinda know what's going on but only kinda know what to do to fix anything so they show up to Tea Party rallies because they heard about them on Fox News and they sounded like a good idea.
The group most likely to be encountered by the public-at-large, as they are usually the most vocal, are the ?Know It Alls?. This is the group that think they have all the answers. This is the sub-group of the Tea Party that has read every single book that Ayn Rand has ever written at least five times each. So, they are obviously going to be fervently Randian/Objectivist politically and think that Ayn Rand was the greatest author ever. They are frothing at the mouth on the subject of taxation and generally feel that they should not have to pay any. They also think absolutely nothing about drivingt on public roads, using public services, showering in public water, and sending their kids off to public school. They also push their Tea Party political messiahs on to who ever will listen to them. They will list off every good attribute about Ron Paul until they bring about drowsiness. They will listen to their Tea Party messiahs and take every word as gospel, never to be questioned. They think they have all the answers because the answer were all given to them beforehand.
All the while behind the scenes lurk a couple of extremely rich and powerful brother by the name of Koch who are, in large part, financing a huge portion of the Tea Party movement across the nation. They are the dark lords of Libertarianism that are behind the scenes and pulling the strings. The Koch brothers are the conservative billionaire financiers that fund many of the Tea Party groups that show up at national events. They, in large part, control the national narrative in the Tea Party today. Many of the grievances being put forth by the Tea Party are not really their own, but those of the Kock Brothers. Chances are, the Kock brothers paid for the saign to be made that the Tea Party member is holding at the rallies,
