Over 4,000 cars were in attendance and they parked them just off the beach at Jetty Park. Its ok to walk between the rows of parked cars to look at them but I had much more fun standing on the side of the road taking pictures as they came in and headed to the registration site before going to the show. This way I get an unobstructed view and I get to hear them drive by doing what they were built to do.

It was truly an amazing selection of cars and I saw everything from a 1969 Yenko Nova/SC 427 to a jaw dropping GT40 that really rumbled as it went by. Here's a few pictures I took from the side of the road on a day I felt like I was in Hot Rod heaven

I used to have the exact Pontiac GTO, except it was white with a black vinyl top. My mom bought it for me in 1976 for $100 from a friend of hers. DAMN I wish I would have kept that car.
