What he is trying to explain is that the view that those Evil Capitalists somehow force people to pay and thereby make people's life worse isn't correct.
He's trying to say that in a free market an entrepreneur has to come up with a better option than his competitors. He has to offer a better service, product or experience. He has to improve the quality of his product, lower the price, offer something his competitors don't, come up with something new,...
Yes, the entrepreneur is driven by his desire to make a profit, but he can only do so by offering better options than his competitors... and by doing so he creates a situation that benefits us all.
