The only way to tell if they're wormy though is to cut them open when raw and inspecting the meat, if not fileting them. any tiny dark or reddish spots = worms.
Here in Manitoba the limit on perch is 25, but only in the southernmost parts of the province (where the lakes are most fished). In more central and northern sections there is no limit. So I was curious to know if there are limits on them where you are. Thanks.
