No matter though, any day when you're reeling in 25 keepers is a good day of fishing in my book. Giving them to someone who could really use them -- even better.

At one point in time an ocean bay that I used to fish in...the ocean Perch were known to be wormy and when I cut into several of them it proved to be true so I personally always threw them back and would not eat them. I think the reason they were wormy is because there were many boats docked in the bay and even though people were not supposed to...I know that some of them would dump their sewage into the bay.
I frequently fish for ocean Perch here locally and they are big enough to filet and I personally have not found any that contain worms...but I usually surf fish when I am fishing for Perch...but I also have not found any worms in the Perch I catch from the bay here. There are a number of boats docked here but I don't know of anyone living on their boat though their are probably some that I am not aware of.
