Password Sentry

This seemed like a good place to make an announcement regarding Password Sentry (PS). For those of you unfamiliar with PS, PS is a web application that monitors logins to a paysite - to detect and block password sharing, which can cost sites hundreds or thousands of dollars in terms of bandwidth and lost sales. PS is the original application of this type, originating in 1999. I should also introduce myself. I am Dan, the creator of PS and top guy at Virtual Solutions (PS parent company).

Although PS has gone through many updates over the past 12 years (now at Version 6), we have allowed PS to fall behind our competitors in the marketplace. Falling behind in terms of comparable functionality. No more. We are currently Beta Testing PS Version 7. Testing is going swimmingly, and we expect to release the PS7 Release Candidate (stable version) later this month. Feedback from testers has been overwhelmingly positive. As a matter of fact, there has been no negative feedback. One of our partner web hosting providers, who uses PS exclusively for his hosting clients, gave the new version two thumbs up!

What makes the New and Improved PS7 so special? Much - you can read more about it in forum post at PS site.

We have also created a new website for PS. By years end, we will match all of the functionality of our competitors - but with added functionality that our competitors lack.

If you have questions or comments, please do not hesitate to ask or post. Ask here, PM me, email me, or ask over at PS site. It's all good =)
