I think it's in response to the "Great Recession" and the general business conditions at hand.

If this is a "flash in the pan" or to be a long-term issue remains to be seen at this point.

However, this is reminiscent of the cry of "SEIZE THE DAY" of my youth in the late 1960s and early 1970s -- we took to the streets and if necessary, fought the man ... We did effect change but only with blood spilled.

So, I can emphasize with the unfolding drama and see it as a call for more social equality. As a "not so small businessman" I can envision the potential benefits so long as this remains a question of more equality within capitalism.
