This is dragging on way too long.
VJo ask the sender to place a trace on the wire and to give you the reference numbers also so your bank can look same time. Whilst they could make up a tracing number, it would be a temporary delay only as your bank could soon call them on it.
This will get things moving. In addition to reference number, ask sponsor to confirm also amount sent, exact date sent, beneficiary details including any correspondent banks and name of sender account, sender bank name and country and give this to your bank.
