I'm really at a loss as to why anyone watches american football (leaving aside the stupid name - i mean come on, you guys couldnt even think of a proper name for the "sport" and had to nick the name of the worlds most popular sport instead) it seems like nothing more than one long (long .... very, very long) advert for weak american beers. The few games i managed to watch for more than a few minutes were ten seconds of action sandwiched between adverts and even then the "sport" was shown in a letterbox on the screen showing more adverts around the edges.
Rugby is loads better for the simple facts they pass more than once, play for a full 40 minutes per side without any real stops (not even for injuries - the physio's work around the action) and dont wear any camp armour.
