When I was like 14 my own 'friend' gave me a ride to the movies and while I was there he went back to my house and stole my ps2 and some other crap.
Got any shitty friends that turned to enemies? Or have your TV sitting in front of a big front window?

My insurance agent tried to tell me that line. But only been in the house a few months. Only 5 people knew where we lived, all close family. It was Thanksgiving. Lots of people gone for 4 days. There was no cars in the drive (& no garage). Looked in the paper & the police reported about 40 burglaries that weekend within a few blocks. Agent finally admitted he was wrong, when another insured walked in on these guys, who walked out with over $40K in goods & guns.
Yeah they target houses for electronics Left an old Dell, old school TV. But took my MacBook Pro & some gold jewelry. Could tell they were pros. Went through everything fast. As neighbor saw them pull in, thought it was us. I was home about 1/2 your later. Was another hour before I realized anything was wrong. The laptop had been under the bed. Had the curtains closed & living room lights on as the police always tell you to do.
Latter, I saw a suspicious van cruising the street, but the police couldn't get there in time. So they had a van scouting and holding the loot, while the car does the in and out. A couple of weeks later, the police reports stopped. Probably moved on to avoid the cops.
