I am a humanist, and I know for a fact that many religious people are far from idiots, and some have been among the most inspirational and heroic people I have known or known of.

When it comes to religion, I prefer to find the common ground, and focus more on my own spiritual well-being and development than constantly mocking others, not that I don't enjoy poking fun at all institutions. I'm just wired that way I guess.
