I built a site for a local community service, the previous site, linked to by wikipedia is no longer online, so I edited the link to the new one.

Deleted, and old one put back up as the link by the editor.

Go back, add the live site, with a note that the old link goes 404

New link deleted, old link still up, IP banned.

Fuckwads.

Anyway, they should stop being so pretentious, put up ads instead of asking for donations, and at least give:

users something they might be interested in to click on
advertisers a chance to give wikipedia users something they may find useful

End result is the same as asking for donations, but with millions of people gaining an extra benefit(s).
