people have no long term vision, me included.
The only webmaster who I know boycotted Brazzers because of the tube sites was klen telaris and I am not even 100% sure that he has any traffic.
everyone else was happy to make easy money with juggcash and selling hardlinks to porntube (again me included).

People like to spout of the idealistic tripe of "If we all stick together then" which is noble but never works in reality. GFY is not the adult internet, we will not control what others do online and we damn sure won't scare them with some boycott or another. If every single user here treated .xxx as scum there would be many more that would embrace it and continue on with business.
It's like they have some misguided idea that GFY = the adult internet when there are so many silent players and huge companies that have never even seen this website.
Knowing all of that, you would be a damn fool to cost yourself money on principle. You can say 'we should do x' but we know ahead of time that it's not going to happen so any worthless gesture you make is just that. What many will do is publicly say one thing then wait for someone else to take the heat before saying "yeah, we are too since everyone else did". This is true in every industry and always will be.
Now if we had an actual lobby that took votes on how everyone would act AND we could make people stick to that we might have a chance. Unfortunately, Lawley or whoever is about to have more money than everyone on GFY combined and they already know how to use it to their benefit.
