OccupyVenice has passed a resolution on LA City Council ballot referendums
The OccupyVenice resolution condemns any move to enact an ordinance by by passing the ballot measure that would institute it based on the justification that elections are too expensive:
"The Venice General Assembly states its opposition to any city council decision or resolution that would dispense with a ballot referendum under the justification that democracy is too messy or expensive. This declaration does not express any support for any position from OccupyVenice on issues being considered by the LA City Council"
Although the proposal for this resolution did not mention the AHF ballot measure to require condoms in porn, the GA did discuss the issue to explain context... you can find video of last night's General Assembly on uStream from @OccupyFreedomLA
