At the risk of getting slammed, I actually like several of the photos.
This one
is kind of interesting. There is real depth to this picture and it looks like the person in the middle is saying something important not just because everyone is looking at him, but because he clearly the subject of the photo thanks to the foreground and background blur.
The other picture I like is this one
Somehow the picture looks like it used only the ambient lighting of the room, yet the people are brightly lit and in full color as if the ISO was set high, but without any of the "noise" you would expect to see in a high ISO setting. As a viewer though I feel disconnected from the group as the photographer was too far away, but otherwise the room is cool. Or should I say, "warm"?
If you did use a flash it was done well. The only give away is the reflect of the flash in the window on the left which I did not notice until I started writing this.
