Agreed! And why are there so many posters who forget the basic rules of semicolon usage? Unlettered Barbarians! It is abundantly clear that one needs to separate two sentences where there is an absence of a conjunction with this device, yet one repeatedly is forced to endure sentences wherein the semicolon is not properly employed! Philistines! Surely the sight of your fellow posters writhing in the agony induced by your poor grammar will compel you to mend your ways. I certainly hope so; however, he that lives upon hope will die fasting.
