Itaewon is mostly english because that is where the Yuongsan US Army base is. The drinks are more expensive (sure hope you like Soju mixed with KoolAid) and you're gauranteed to meet girls there, because they will come sit on your lap and ask you to buy them a drink. We used to call them the $10 drinky girls. You wont score with those girls unless you're paying for it.
There are a few red light districts in Seoul, one is at the northern most train station. Another is near the big tech center.
Take some friends (korean) and go get some dak-kalbi for dinner. Its good stuff.
