ugh, Japan is even more weird than I thought.
I stumbled on a psychology research paper last year, from a German university I think, that talked about how it was common for mothers in Japan to masturbate their kids when they wouldn't sleep - to calm them down - and they'd do it even out in public. And how when the boy grows up the mother would try and seduce him to keep him from having a girlfriend or leave home! >_<
