No, not at all. Odd would be for me to be anywhere and not have a gun on me or withing arms reach 24/7.
Believe or not, it seems a lot of shootings happen in public places.
To me, owning a handgun and leaving it locked up at home seems odd. Unless you have too many to carry at once. ;)
